Personally, i think the most under-looked aspect of gaming laptops is the cooling system. There are a fair few reviews of gaming laptops from reputable sources (eg Linus tech tips) which show, particularly with thinner laptops, thermal throttling from extended gaming sessions.
vast majority of game tests and benchmarks are for short periods of time.
worth looking into reviews which run tests for +15mins. or just googling the cooling aspects of said laptop.
I wish you luck, it seems with current economic climate, all gaming laptops are made in east Asia or mexico, and that it is impossible to find a laptop/brand with 100% guarantee that it will work out the box.
so i strongly suggest purchasing from a reputable seller who will handle returns properly.
