Is there any way to turn on my laptop without having to hit the power button?

Is there any way to turn on my laptop without having to hit the power button under the lid? I had considered a docking station but there are none compatible with my computer.

Basically, I just want to be very lazy and press a button without lifting the lid and pressing the button.

If you don't lift the lid, how do you see whats on the screen?

Then just let it Sleep, and awake with a keyboard press.
I don't think you can turn a laptop on that is fully 'off' without pressing the actual power button.

This is so god damn weird, how come you are so lazy that you won't want to press the button if you need to lift the lid?

Anyway, there are some laptops which their power button are designed into a slider and put them on the side, you don't need to open the lid.
