Is there anyway to ADD a mute switch to a headset when using it on the ps4?

I bought the Cloud core headsets because of how great they sound and how comfy they are. Although 90% of my gaming comes after the kids are in bed, the other night I was gaming while they were awake and realized there was no mute switch. Is there any "add" on I can purchase to add one? I tried looking and I think I might be just looking up the wrong thing. Any suggestions?

If the cord that comes with the headset is detachable then you could switch over to another aux cord that doesn't support a microphone, just audio input, for example, http://www.amazon.com/iXCC-Tangle-Free-Auxiliary-Connectors-Smartphones/dp/B00KWR8ME2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1457026864&sr=8-3&keywords=aux+cord

Thank you, I thought about that. But, I want to be able to mute and un-mute on the fly. Right now I just have the mic unplugged which is good for single player games, but a pain when trying to communicate with team mates. I am surprised there isn't like a Male to female 3.5mm adapter that just adds a mute option.

Ya I also looked around for you I was surprised I didn't see one. You could probably go to like the Astro gaming website and buy another chord that has one built in.
