Indirectly. The impedance of of the speakers is reflected in how much current flows through them. So, indirectly it does. But it doesn't change anything about the amp. It doesn't allow the amp to output any more or less. I am very skeptical of the "700W" rating of those $60 speakers. That amp MIGHT put out 200W, but I am skeptical of that also.
