I've been searching for an entry level laptop and almost settled on this one:

I figured I don't have time to game much anymore and this seemed like a good deal for just about everything else. Then I saw this one:

For another hundred bucks I get 8GB instead of 4 and a dedicated GPU.
Is this a better deal? Could I play most games at medium settings? Civ V, LOTR online, things like that. How about crysis, call of duty, that kind of more demanding game?
