Solved! Is this a virus?

I was downloading a self-help link from a site in Chrome, and it continued downloading several times, opening more and more tabs! I have Windows 7.

Thank you. Yes, after it kept on loading and opening more tabs, I closed them all, of course. But, I am wondering if this has caused a virus to be downloaded onto my computer?

If you don't go back to that link and it doesn't happen again, then it just a bad link.

Yes, I did go back to see again if that link did the same thing it did before, and sure enough, it did. So, I must have malware-Yikes! Thanks again for your input!

I said if you don't do back to the link and just do regular web surfing.

All of those downloads are in my download folder on my pc, and I cannot delete them, so...?
