is this acer aspire e15 any good?

So I just bought a new laptop and I am kind of reluctant to fire it up. I seem to have absolute rubbish luck with these sort of things. I said I wanted a laptop that can handle some gaming. Now this is still up in the air, as I am not sure I will bother with a laptop for that and just wait until I can get a desktop. That said, however, I do need a laptop as my current one is slowly dying.

Here are the specs this new computer came with. The clerk said it would be fine for gaming and all around day to day computer use. I couldn't find any reviews of this particular model. The price was $510.

Thats very solid for the price. a10 8700p can game at 768p in medium to high settings depending on the game you are playing.

Oh wow.. I wanted to add that it's $510CAD, which is about $395 US..I was thinking the witcher series. It kind of interests me..

You will not be playing any of the witcher series on that machine. They dont even run well on lower end desktop gpus. You would need a high end desktop to get anything playable.
