is this asus x556uq supprted m.2 ssd?

i want to buy HP SSD EX900 M.2,
i confused is this m.2 ssd supported or not 🙁
please help me

Your Laptop only supports SATA3 SSDs
M.2 SSDs are not compatible

You won´t see any difference in performance between a normal SSD and a M.2 SSD though and it´s cheaper
e.g. Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB, SATA (MZ-76E500B)

Hey there!

After a quick search it seems the Asus X556UQ uses a regular SATA port.

You can replace the drive with any 2.5" SSD but NOT an M.2 or NVMe SSD.
