I have an Asus Vivobook S510u I5 8250U 940mx laptop that i want to make it smoother. I got a Western Digital SN730 SSD for it to try and install new window on it but right after installing the SSD and booting it up, just going into BIOS and it's already hot to the touch on my laptop and became burning hot after like 30s so I panicked and unplugged it. Could it be a M.2 port issue? The SSD I bought seem to be broken from that incident so I can't tell if I should get another to try.
