If it has the hd8730, you should get performance similar to a gt640 machine - in other words low to medium on most current games. Not a gamers holy grail, but playable within reason.

Its okay

approximately equal to and i3 SV, a10.
Bit weaker than a regular SV i5.
Lot weaker than a quad i7.

It'll get the job done but for heavy use a quad core or at least a non ULV will be better.

General use will be fine - web, documents - daily use stuff. 3d modeling will be doable, but not with much speed - laptops like the one you are looking at simply do not have the grunt to run that type of stuff. If you are just messing with it, it will be ok, but if you need to do serious 3d/cad/rendering you will not be happy.
