If you can get 8GB of RAM that would be better, but 4GB might be enough, depending on what games you're playing?

That i5 is a low power CPU and isn't really made to handle high end games like BF4 and Crysis 3. Either you have an ultra powerful system or an ultra portable one, you can't really have both.
