Is this laptop good for gaming?
I'm not going to play Battlefield 4 or other games that have high system requirements.

If your going to play demanding games at low settings then this laptop is good for low end gaming, if you are planning to play on ultra 1080p then it won't be good.

You will be able to play games and medium-high settings, because I think it has 1336x768 resolution. So, answer is yes it is good enough for gaming. Even on games like Bf4, crysis 3, or other games that have high system requirements.

The gtx 750m=7750 so if he plays at 720p he can play most games at medium but remember the 7750 is an ultra budget gaming card therefore gaming at 1080p at low - medium is very hard on new games. But since you said not demanding fames you should be alright and set.
