Hey guys, found this laptop on the Internet for $1000 AUD which seems to suit my needs:
ASUS Vivobook X507UB
CPU: Intel Core i7 7500U Processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.5GHz)
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 256gb ssd
Graphics; NVIDIA GeForce MX110 2GB
Do you think its worth it?
Also, how will it hold up against light gaming and programming?
Cheers.

Solution
For programming it would be just fine.

After viewing some gaming benchmarks of the Nvidia MX110, it's good enough for light gaming with eSports titles at 1080p resolution. But it would be under-powered for AAA games at the native 1080p, and possibly even at lower resolutions. So, that would be up to you and what type of games you intend to play.
