Is this latop good for 4k editing?

Hi,
I intend to buy a laptop for 4k editing (offline, camcorder 4k)

These are the specs:
Intel Core i7 6700HQ 2.6 GHz
L2 cache 6 MB
8 GB RAM DDR4 2133 MHz
15.6" 1920 x 1080
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4 GB

1000 GB HDD (7200rpm) + 128 GB SSd

Later I intend to buy a 4k monitor as well. Is it good if I connect a monitor to a laptop? I mean, is it good for 4k video editing?

yes, it will handle video editing just fine. I would recommend getting 16gb of ram or more though as video editing requires a lot of ram especially at that resolutin, and of course a i7 helps so being that the 6700hq is a hyperthreaded quad core your good in the processor department.

Yep and i would recommend a cooling pad as well just for good measure because rendering can warm a laptop up. I know Sony Vegas and power director do.
