Would love a second opinion on buying this laptop. Will be mainly play The Sims 3 (all expansion/stuff packs), surfing web, email and some photos. It may seem like too much but I want to make sure it's not a just for now but also future friendly. Also, I really do not want Windows 8 and not an option when buying it. Can I downgrade it myself? If so, how?

3rd Gen i7 - 3630QM (2.4 GHz, 6MB cache)
Windows 8, 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M, 2GB dedicated memory (GDDR5)
8GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
1 TB 5400 rpm + 16GB SSD

My other option was an Asus G75VW-BH17N07 from Best Buty

Was same except no SSD and was a larger 17.3 screen and weighs 9.2 lbs!

The display for me seems to be a bit too small, 17.3 would be enough. But anyways, this one is powerful enough to run Sims 3 smoothly. About the brand, Lenovo is awesome.

EDIT: About Windows 8, I would recommend you to not downgrade, you will not find it good at the start, but you will love it after a short period of time.
