Question Issue with charging

I have had my acer aspire E5 511p p1qh for 7 years now, recently when I go to charge the power and charge light flash together and am using a 19volt off market charger and replaced the charge wire but no success my lead makes me believe it either the battery though a health check shows it's good or it the motherboard and don't no if that's the issue would really appreciate an expertise advise

7 year old battery could very well be a bad battery. No way to know until you replace it or the power adapter you are using. If neither of those help then you can go to checking the motherboard.

Thank you for your advice will consider the battery first before the horror of it being the motherboard.
