Question It seems everyone shoots mirrorless?

I just found mirrorless Sonys and Canons are coming to the market in a big way. It seems the mirrorless cameras are the trend now. Why did everyone switch from DSLR?

Mirrorless is not new. My Fuji X-T1 is almost 10 years old.

And no, everyone did not "switch".
