Itouch says wifi off

hello everyone, my ipod touch won't find any hotspots and when i go to the settings, it says wi-fi is off and it's grayed out. it was drowned, so i don't know what to do about it. help me please

Drowned. Like you dropped it in the toilet ? Visit an Apple Store and keep quiet about that -- just say wireless isn't working and see if the "Geniuses" can spot the cause.

Otherwise, I don't think there's a warranty in the world that covers drowned electronics.
