Solved! Iwatch smashed screen- alternative to Apples ridiculous quote (£330)?

I was given an iwatch for Christmas- and like it a lot. However I dropped it on the kitchen tiles and broke the screen yesterday. I took it to the Apple store in Leicester this morning only to be told they do not repair the watch screens. The only thing they can do is replace the unit for £330. Absolutely disgrace. Anyone know where else I can get it repaired?
