Not convinced it's doing anything more useful than showing a jpeg image... , my laptop from 1992 could have done that as well...
FYI I'm an orthopaedic surgeon and very rarely have to resort to looking at an image in the middle of an operation - everything should be planned beforehand - but if I do we have perfectly good calibrated NEC and Barco equipment that does the job very nicely - particularly the 60inch 1080p wall monitor.
Personally, I'd be very wary about introducing any object into the operating field that doesn't need to be there - increasing the risk of contamination / infection. I'd be be even more wary about relying on a device that hasn't been fault / reliability tested in case something goes wrong...
