Jbl pro Compac computer sperakers

Hello, i have only one jbl computer speaker 309996-001. I cant figure out how it hooks up and is it worth saving to find the other one.

most 2.1 or 2.0 systems have one speaker with a control knob which hooks up to the pc and the other speaker hooks up to the first.

most 2.0/2.1 speaker sets are cheap. i wouldnt think its worth the time or money to try and find a matching speaker.
