Can I connect some JBL Pulse 2 speakers to my computer?

Why not? Either use Bluetooth if your computer has it or the analog aux port instead.

could i constantly have it plugged in via usb to keep it charged or will it do so through the aux cord?

Use the usb. The aux will not charge it.
