Joining or Splitting video

Are there any good programs that are relatively small and user friendly that can be used to join multiple movies together in a single file and not mess up the video?

I recorded 3 videos with my digi camera and now have them on my HD in .avi format, i would like to combine all 3 into 1 movie.

Virtual Dub or one of its many mods (ie Nandub) will work just fine. Choose direct stream copy for super fast results. To split just save each half seperately. To join choose the "append" option.

I have good experience with <A HREF="http://www.doeasier.org" target="_new">Easy Video Joiner</A>. Like the name of the program says, it's very easy to use.
