JPEG image with wrong dimension

Hi all,
here a challenge for who wants help me..
I have a jpg pic of 700 KB..
When I open it I see the image with 160x120 pixels
PhotoPaint tell me the image is 56 KB sized (!)
What is wrong ?
Where is the image with 1920x1440 pixels ??

For some reason or another, Photopaint is apparently displaying the
embedded EXIF thumbnail instead of the actual image. EXIF thumbnails, as
created by modern digital still cameras, typically have a resolution of
160×120 pixels. (If that's so, it's bit curious situation though. If
PhotoPaint cannot properly handle images with EXIF thumbnails, you're
going to have similar problems with just about all images taken with
digital still cameras.)

Try opening the problematic JPEG image in Exifer and see if it has an
EXIF thumbnail in addition to the actual image:
<http/www.friedemann-schmidt.com/software/exifer/>. If it does, you
could try making a backup copy and removing the thumbnail. This can be
done either in Exifer itself, or with a tool called "jhead"
<http/www.sentex.net/~mwandel/jhead/>, or with some similar utility.
After having done that, maybe the load actual image will load in
PhotoPaint. Worth trying, anyway.
