i am looking to get the corsair sp2500 speaker system, but i was wondering if an amp is needed or not for best sound quality? does it need a sound card or do i just run it through an aux cable? thanks XD

You don't need an amp for these speakers, they are computer speakers. Power is supplied from the power cable running out of the subwoofer.
