I just got a dell g3 gaming laptop from Microsoft and was delighted to find out that it didn't have McAfee or any other similar programs installed. Only I found out there were several extra folders for dell in my program files. I have CISCO, Dell, and Dell Digital Delivery in my Program Files(x86). Also a Dell and a Rivet Networks folder though I'm 90% sure the Rivet Networks is just for internet not really worrying about that one. It's the Dell Delivery that I'm more worried about.

What I'm wondering is if a windows reset will also get rid of the bloatware or if I need to fully reinstall windows 10 from a flash drive back onto the laptop.

A reset will likely just revert to the out of box state (including the original bloatware). You could just remove the offending applications via Control Panel/Programs and Features.

Another option is to download the current Windows 10 ISO and re-install Windows (and all of your drivers) from scratch. The OEM product key is stored in your UEFI so you don't even need to type it in afterward.
