JVC TV no picture after power flux

I have a JVC EM55FTR TV. After power problems in the building, the backlights for the screen come on. The front LED comes on but does not blink. The screen does not display anything - no start up screen, no menus, no content. I called JVC support, tried factory reset [unplug, hold power button 30 sec, plug back in] No improvement. I took the back off. No visible damage, no bulging caps, and the fuse is fine.

If it's a JVC TV, why did you contact Samsung?

The warranty on that TV covers parts/labor for 12/12 months, respectively.

Give serious consideration to getting at least an average quality model surge protector.

Got the board from ElectroPartsOnline.com, installed it. It fired right up. Thanks @Calvin7
