K-lite codec download valid win 32 application

Hello, I'm running vista. I downloaded the k-lite codec pack and upon installation received the message is not a valid win 32 application. Is there any other way to install. The application gives windows media the ability to Play VOB files.

henydiah thanx for the site information; that's where I downloaded the codecs and info to install to no avail. I wish there was another way but dEAne seems to have the best option with vlc media player. Thank you both very much for your help.
