]]]] keeps appearing and won’t stop

My pc runs on Windows 7 and suddenly the ] sign keeps appearing on the command field. It won’t stop. I checked my key board and confirm the key ] is not stuck. Pls tell me what is wrong

Faulty Keyboard , seems to think the key is being pressed even if it's not so , I had it with the //// years ago.

I was able to test the ] key by pressing the Backspace key continuously at the same time. As far as I can tell , the ] key is working fine.

Mine was the same way , but it wouldn't stop at all I had to replace mine. Key looked fine but kept getting the error.

Try that keyboard on a different computer. Or try a different keyboard with your computer. It does sound like hardware (keyboard) failure. I use a $5 Inland keyboard that I got from MicroCenter. If it goes bad (I have had it for 5+ years and use it every day), I would simply buy another cheap one, or dig around in my closet for a spare.
