I have bought new lenovo ideapad 700. When battery connected to notebook the keyboard is randomly missing keystrokes. USB keyboard works fine regardless either battery connected or not.
Any ideas why that happens?

Try this...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't work, and this is a new device, I would be contacting either the place of purchase or the manufacture about a repair/replacement. A new device shouldn't give you such problems.

I have heard of it here and there, but no as to being on all models. If the device is new, or still under warranty, then I would contact the manufacturer about a repair or replacement.
