Keyboard Failing on Acer Aspire M5-583P-6423

'5 6 R T F G V' keys do not work. After mashing on them for a bit (literally facerolling), they start to work intermittently but not for long.

I believe that I must replace the keyboard. I could not find any guides for this model.

Edit: keys now work with less issues, after turning off backlit keys. (Fn+F9)

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting step first before replacing the keyboard itself.
- First do uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver from Device Manager.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the keyboard drivers.
- Reboot your PC once uninstalled and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot, do test it again and if the same problem will persist try to disable the built in keyboard from Device Manager then connect an external keyboard and see if the same problem will persist.
- If all these will not work I would also suggest running a complete factory reset.
