Hi, I got a rather interesting problem I've never seen or heard of before.
My keyboard won't respond in anything in the Windows10 system, but it works just fine in any other application on the PC. Yes, that means I'm typing from the "not working" keyboard right now in Chrome.
I'm using an MSI laptop.
What doesn't work:
If I want to connect to WiFi with a password, the keyboard won't respond.
If I click the Windows button (which works) I can not type to search for any of my programs/files.
If I go to Settings, I can't use the keyboard in there.
I can't type in native Windows10 apps like Edge, Mail, Calender and apps downloaded from Windows10 Store.
What does work:
I can use ALT+TAB, Windows button + D and all those shortcuts.
I can also login to my PC and typing a password using the keyboard.
I can type in File Explorer.
I can type in all applications that is NOT native on Windows 10.
CAPS-lock and NUM-lock works.
What I've tried so far:
Reinstalling drivers in Device Manager.
Change some settings in regedit.
Google. Can't find this issue anywhere.
Hope you guys can help!
EDIT: Also, I can't relate this error to anything. This happened over night. I've have had Windows 10 since launch.
