Keyboard ribbon cable too short.

Hi,
I recently had to take apart my laptop and now I'm having trouble reattaching the keyboard's ribbon cable, as it is too short. Please help!

It was more a question of it being able to extend, because I know with a lot of ribbon cables they can. It's longer behind the casing but I'm more concerned with any testimonials/similar experiences people have that could save me the money of getting it repaired.

It's long enough to reconnect as long as you can figure out how, which isn't really that hard to figure out how to place the keyboard to do so. My point was that since you can't figure it out, that you should take it to someone that can.
