Hi. We have a Toshiba Satellite C50 B15Z. The keyboard has stopped working. Apart from some of the lower letters it is stuck. We have read a few threads that says to go into Bios but we can not even press F1 to get in. We cant remove the battery as we have read. There is no restart pin hole hole in the casing. It works on Windows 8. The model is 2 and half years old. We are using a Mac keyboard to type. The onscreen key board works. The Mac keyboard works and when we check to see if it detects its own keyboard it says it is working fine. Any help would be great. Thank you for any help you all can give.

But that would mean opening it up, correct?

Yes, you need to open it to get to the keyboard connections.
