Hello. I have a problem with my laptop's keyboard where it types the wrong keys for every key besides the alt, shift, ctrl, fn, and windows keys. I've tried the num lock toggle solution, system restore, and made sure the the langauge was correct but still no avail.
eg. f=h, w=d, k=y, f3=w, tab=z, backspace=8
I had this problem multiple times before but it would mysteriously fix itself after a couple of hours turned off. My laptop is a samsung ATIV book 4 and running windows 10. I would like any advice if anyone has one. Thanks.

Hi ponkun1,

Here's some thing you want to try in your case. There's whats called keyboard region in your PC that might had changed without you knowing it. But try to follow this steps that might help you fix it.

Changing keyboard language and region:
1. Click on start button then select Settings.
2. Once in Settings look for Time & Language
3. After that go to Region & Language in the left column.
4. Under Languages click the language you want to select as the default then click on Set as default.

It's always best to reboot your PC for all the changes to take effect as well.

I've already done that but just checked again and it is still on the English and U.S. QWERTY which is the one I want.
