Klipsch pro media 2.1 connectivity to toshiba 40l1400u

Hello, I am trying to have my klipsch pro media 2.1's run through my toshiba 40l1400u tv. I have them connected via a 3.5mm (Male) in the aux out(marked with a musical note on the klipsch) to Stereo L/R (Male) into the Stereo out Red/White on the tv. However, I am receiving no sound through my klipsch. Any ideas?

Update:

I read the MANUAL and it doesn't show any analog outputs from your TV. It only shows a DIGITAL one via TOSLINK on Page 24. http/www.brandsmartusa.com/pdfs/manuals/20175584.pdf

Are you sure you have analog outputs?

Hmm, I guess I didn't stop to think that the audio L/R wasn't stereo out but after looking at that diagram it would appear it's part of the rca input for vcrs and etc. Well, thanks. Would you have any other ideas on how I could rig this?
