Know the google account password but cant login

I know the google account password but it wont let me log in? It say invalid user name or password. Then I go to gmail.com and change my password and try again, still the same. Does it need wifi to login? How can I unlock it?

Yes, you need to be on the web to login.

If you continue to have problems, you will have to contact google directly - no one on these forums can assist you with security issues.
