Ku-band problem

According to my signal strength meter, I'm getting Ku-band signals off the
Ku LNB but I'm not getting any Ku audio or video on the 4DTV or on my spare
analog GI receiver or on my Pansat 300. What could be causing this problem?

What I've done so far:

Peaked the dish
replaced the LNB
replaced the coax cable feeding the LNB
bypassed the DiscEQ and went directly into the 4DTV
swapped the 4DTV with my old analog GI receiver
replaced the feedhorn
removed and restored power to the 4DTV
I've recently done a factory reset on the 4DTV also

C band works great (except I still can't get the digital NETV feeds).

It seems to be hard these days to find any Ku transmissions.
B6 usually has one or two channels open.

If you are talking about Ku-Band ANALOG channels you are right. But there
are a few DC2 (4DTV) channels on X4 (Ku-Band side of Galaxy [G4].There
are 8 video channels and 38 audio channels there (DMX Music). And of
course there are lots of DVB FTA (free to air) channels on Ku-Band too.

Speaking of X4, I recently discovered a problem I am having. When I
tune to X4 I get the message "cannot find channel, continuing to
search" on all 8 video channels and all 38 audio channels. Just
wondering if anybody else is having the same problem??? (btw, I
called my satellite dealer--talked to a clerk that knows nothing about
satellite TV except how to turn the receiver on. They are having the
same problem).....

Try manually peaking the dish position an polarity. Auto peaking
more often than not does not work well.

Heh, I thought that I was the only one that couldn't get them.

Been there, done that.
