Kyocera 2325 impressions?

Does anyone still use this model of phone? I was looking at it because
I would like a backup prepay phone, and the 2325 was the lowest priced
on FreeUp.

How is the reception and sound quality? Has there been any word if the
2325 suffers from the screen outages that the 2255 was notorious for?

Thanks,
Eric

My mother has had one for over a year and has never had a problem with
it. And I don't recall ever seeing a post here about screen issues
with the 2325.

Traditionally Kyocera has the best RF sections of any phone VZW sells.

No, thank $DEITY, it doesn't. I love my 2325. It also doesn't have some of
the bugs that plague my 3035.

Great 1x-capable monochrome phone from a company with outstanding support
(in my experience, anyhow, Kyocera's been pretty cool).

A great phone. A real workhorse. I actually enjoy using this phone
more than my lg6000.

Yes, I'd say after my dealings with them that they were as responsive
as they could be with an end user. The real problem with the 3035
bugs seemed to be convincing VZW there were actual software issues
with the phone, and then getting Marketing & Development to put the
request into Kyocera for the fixes.

If I stay with VZW after my contract is up in 23 days, it will only be
so that I can stay with the Koycera family. Cingular, my second
choice, doesn't offer a Kyo phone in this market.
