I have a Toshiba satilite L505-s5964 and I have tried everything that was listed in the discussion from back in 2011.
The Fn + F8 keys do not work and there isn't any knob, button etc. in the front of the machine to push. I can't find any way to get the wireless wi fi to work. Please HELP!

Hi,
My laptop didnt enable the wifi with the fn+f8 key.
I even reset the cmos and nothing.
Then I went to toshiba drivers website and after installing the "thku" "toshiba hotkey utility" the fn+f8 start working and enable/disable the wifi. It now shows a popup windows when I press the fn+f8 key.

Before the wifi led was always off. Windows detected the wifi device but nothing on the wifi available list.
Now the led is always on, starts orange when I turn on the pc and blue when connected.

I have a Toshiba L500 laptop with no wifi switch

I went to the spanish website, in the option "O seleccionar el producto" selected my laptop, and in the dirver search I selected my country language. This website has other countries drivers.
