L50b toshiba bios password

1 week old laptop and I got a notification from toshiba service station with 3 different updates I assumed coming from there they were important on the bios update window I installed it then restarted itself the toshiba logo came on then a box for a password I never put any on there and I am the only user I spoke to toshiba support and have been told it's going to cost more than the actual laptop please help as I haven't even paid for it yet

No one can or will help you with password issues. Sounds like you picked up some ransomware some where. Doesnt matter, no one here can help you, look up Toshibas # on the web and call them.

It's against forum rules here to assist with anything regarding login credentials. You may need to bring the laptop to a computer technician if you cannot log in.

its in the BIOS, not the OS itself, come on guys, you are better than this

What does it matter where the password is? Theres no way to prove you own it, and frankly I dont care if you do or not, the rules are the rules here. Its against them to even ask for assistance. And yes we are better than that.

It is against the site rules to ask for or provide any form of support for password or security bypass of any kind. We cannot verify that you actually own or otherwise have authorization to access the PC/Laptop is question. If you had actually read the rules when you created your account you would have already known this.
