Laptop BlackScreen Issues. (but works with external monitor)

Hello, I have Asus G750JX model laptop.
Few days ago, when i was booting up my laptop, my screen was black, no back light. keyboard light and fans seem to be working, but my laptop's screen is getting no power.

If I start it up with external monitor plugged in, I can see the computer booting up through external monitor. and my laptop's monitor also gets the power (i can see the back light turning on).

and once laptop's monitor is on, it performs fine. While the laptop monitor is working, I am able to close the monitor lid, and put it to sleep. and the monitor will turn on again when i open the lid back up.

However, if i restart or turn-off and turn-on the laptop, the screen goes black again, unless i have external monitor plugged in at the start up.

So basically, my laptop's screen is only getting powers when I have external monitors connected at power up.

does anyone know how to solve this issue?

UPDATE:
If i start up my laptop holding 'f9' key, the laptop's screen works.
(Without external monitor during power up)

Try one of the following and see if it helps.

Option 1.

When the laptop is on, press F2, F9 and F10 and press enter. Then reboot it right after.

Option 2.

1. Restart the computer in "Safe Mode". (See instructions below.)
2. While in "Safe Mode" delete your display driver.
3. Restart the computer.
4. The screen should have a lower resolution due to the generic display driver the computer is now using.
5. Download and install the correct display driver for your system, and make sure it is the most updated one.
