Laptop choice. ssd or no sdd

I am looking a getting a laptop for gaming and for university, was looking at these two

from what I can see they are the same but one has a ssd but is $240 more.
should I buy the cheaper one and buy a ssd. if I was to do that what one would you suggest i get? just want a 128gb ssd as others are expensive.

Buy the cheaper variant and later upgrade to the ssd if you really need it. There is no point paying $240 because of it.
IMO, you may not even feel like buying it later. Just use a fraction of that money to buy another 8gb RAM and save the rest of the money.
