I turn my laptop (Samsung 300e) on , it immediately turns itself off , then back on. Only to show a boot menu , no matter what I try nothing works. Specifically it shows up as
1. SATA HDD : : TOSHIBA MQ01ABD032
2. SATA CD : : TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208BB
3. Windows Boot Manager
4. Windows Boot Manager
5. Windows Boot Manager

it also says enter to select and I push enter on all the options and nothing happens

This is all the info I can give sorry :/ any help is appreciated. Also it will only turn on if plugged into the charger

If i7Baby's suggestion doesn't work or you don't have access to a recovery disk, you can try downloading a liveCD of a linux distro and try to use it to boot the system, just to see if it loads up properly. That might point to a hard drive or windows installation issue. If you're not comfortable with doing that it might be easier to try to obtain a recovery disk from Samsung (you might need it regardless).
