Laptop cores reaching 70-80 degrees celsius.

My laptop cores have been reaching 70-80 degrees Celsius on an Intel B815 dual core processor and its 4 years old, is this a normal temperature for an older laptop?

Some laptops are like that does this laptop have any fan vents on the bottom of the laptop? If so they need to be exposed to allow air.

The laptop has a small fan and a couple vents on the bottom, its exposed because it is on a laptop tray but i never use it on my lap only on a desk.

If the temps have gotten hotter over the years then you may need to apply thermal paste. If they were always like this then it's a design flaw.

Can you try blowing out the dust with canned air?

Sorry I never replied, I've been busy but over the last month I have built a completely new gaming rig and im transferring to PC gaming and im downloading GTA 5 as we speak. Thank you for your answers.

It is most likely that the thermal paste is worn out. It could also be that the fans and cpu are worn out due to age.
