Laptop display problem

Recently my laptop started having this problem whereby my screen would start becoming extremely choppy or start flashing once in a while and then stop after some time. I think the problem lies in the display and motherboard connection, because it seems that the display works fine when it is wired to an external HDMI screen. I tried screenshotting when it is flashing then viewing the screenshot after it stops, and it seems that the screenshot is perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this?
My laptop model is Samsung NP530U4C and it was bought in June 2012. It has Intel 3317U, GT 620m, 1366*768 display. 1 TB of HDD stroage and 8 gigs of ram if that helps.

Hello Takino

It seems there is some misconfiguration in the display settings.

There are some steps that may help solve the issues:

Step 1- Connect the laptop to the external screen.

Step 2- Start/Restart your laptop.

Step 3- When the laptop has restarted press Windows + P together.

Step 4- After the display options appear on the screen of the external monitor, verify the selected option, and if not already selected, click Computer Only.

If this doesn’t help, you can try entering the BIOS setup of your laptop's motherboard by pressing the appropriate key. (You may want to check the key in your laptop's User Manual book.)

If you are able to see the BIOS setup interface, your display is working fine and there is some problem with the configuration of the OS or display settings that you can resolve by restoring your PC to an earlier point (using externally connected monitor), or by repairing your operating system.

After using the above solutions, if the problem persists, you should take your laptop to a repair station for the detailed diagnosis by the professionals.
