Laptop E-GPU Help needed

Hello, So i want to get a E-GPU for my laptop and am not all so sure about this thunderbolt 3 and usb type-c stuff. I need a little help and i cant seem to find any. I have a MSI GE72 APACHE PRO (6TH GEN) (GTX 960M) http:// And im not sure if it supports egpu's. it has a usb type c connector. Is that the same thing as a thunderbolt 3? i just need to know if a thunderbolt 3 will go into this laptop. Hopefully someone can find out. Ask me questions if you need to.

Usb3 type c does not mean thunderbolt 3. It will be on your spec sheet. Atm the razor core is the only made for video cards adapter.
