laptop external monitor

my Toshiba laptop use to show on external monitor using HDMI but after i system reset it. It wont show up on external monitor and my laptops monitor is broken.

Unfortunately after a reset you will need to re-load the video driver to enable your HDMI output. It may be possible to have it work if you disconnect the laptop screen from the motherboard and have it detect the HDMI as the only display, but may not work without fixing the screen first so you can do all the updates needed.
