Laptop fan makes high pitch sound

Hello,

Recently i started to hear high pitch sound from my laptop fan. I think it's definetly fan, if i make laptop sleep and turning it on, for a 20 seconds or so fan sound is normal and then it start again.

My laptop temperature is normal as always.

ASUS X750J
Intel Core i7-4710HQ
RAM 8GB
GeForce 840M
Windows 8.1

I'm doing a lot of CPU, GPU intensive work on this laptop (not gaming), and is it possible that after of 1 year of using fan just need to be replaced?

The first thing I suggest you do is clean the dust off the fan if that doesn't work try lubricating it
