Laptop fan not starting on startup

Hello,
I have just recently replaced my laptops fan, but after about 3 months of use this new fan has begun to give me the same problems that caused me to replace the old one.
I know for certain that the bearing isn't shot,because if I remove my keyboard and manually spin the fan it will sometimes start running.
I am planning to buy another new fan from a different provider but i would really love to know what the issue is so as to try and prevent a 3rd failure.

Hi there Luigix,

There could be something wrong with the connector or with the power provided. (if we assume that the drive is working properly and you are facing some issues with the new one you are about to get) In both cases, you may need to take it to a repair shop.
